Our Story
Born in Arusha, Built on Extra Beyond Adventure
BIG TOURS.COM was founded in Sakina, Arusha — the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit — by guides who grew up between Mount Meru and the Serengeti plains. After years of leading trips for other companies, we started our own operator with a simple idea: plan every journey as if we were taking our own family.
Today we run private and small-group safaris, Kilimanjaro treks and Zanzibar beach holidays for couples, families, seniors, photographers and friends travelling together. Because we operate our own trips, you get honest advice, flexible itineraries and a team that answers to you — not to a foreign middleman.
