Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park presents a remarkably varied landscape within its relatively small confines. Dominated by the towering peak of Mount Meru, Tanzania's second-highest mountain, the park features a dramatic transition from dense montane forests on its lower slopes to alpine deserts higher up. Below, the shimmering Momella Lakes, each with distinct mineral compositions and colors, attract a myriad of waterbirds, while the Ngurdoto Crater, a lush caldera often called 'Little Ngorongoro', offers a verdant haven for wildlife.
