Arusha Departure & Tarangire's Elephant Kingdom
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha. We journey to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its majestic baobab trees and thriving elephant populations. Enjoy an extensive game drive, tracking diverse wildlife along the life-giving Tarangire River. As evening approaches, we ascend to the cooler highlands of Karatu for an overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge.
Day 2
Journey Across the Crater Rim to the Central Serengeti
After breakfast, we depart the Karatu highlands, traversing the scenic rim of the Ngorongoro Crater before descending its outer slopes towards the vast Serengeti. Upon entering these boundless plains, our game tracking commences through the Seronera Valley, an area famous for its exceptional predator densities. The day concludes with an authentic tented experience and an open-air dinner at Embalakai Serengeti Camp.
Day 3
Full-Day Predator Pursuit in the Serengeti
Dedicate an entire day to exploring the legendary Serengeti. We venture out at first light, seeking elusive leopards draped on riverine branches, pride of lions surveying the iconic kopjes, and cheetahs gracefully hunting across the open grasslands. A delightful bush picnic lunch provides a scenic break before we continue our wildlife quest into unexplored corners of the park. Spend a second tranquil night under canvas at Embalakai Serengeti Camp.
Day 4
Serengeti Morning Drive & Ngorongoro Highlands Retreat
Savor a final morning game drive across the Serengeti plains, hoping to spot any wildlife you haven't yet encountered. Following lunch, we transit back through the historical Olduvai Gorge region, ascending the volcanic highlands to reach your lodge, perfectly situated on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. Check into Ngorongoro Rim Lodge for a refreshing evening with panoramic views.
Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater Exploration, Cultural Insights & Departure
Descend early into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a unique volcanic caldera brimming with wildlife. This self-contained ecosystem offers outstanding opportunities to spot the 'Big Five,' including the elusive black rhino.
